April 2^nd is Autism Awareness Day. To celebrate this day, prominent buildings across North America and the world — including the Empire State Building in New York City The Miami Tower,  the Port of Miami in Miami-Dade County and the Christ the Redeemer Statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil , — will turn their lights blue to raise awareness for autism and to commemorate the fourth World Autism Awareness Day .

Our aim is to light the world blue all throughout April — city by city, town by town — by taking action to raise autism awareness in our communities.

Spring is a great time to get a new Outdoor Flag for your home!

With the weather warming up again, the sun shining more and people spending more time outside, flying your outdoor flag is a great way to share your patriotism.

When you break out your flag this spring, give it a quick check-over. Our high-quality embroidered flags are made to last a long time, but over time wear and tear can have it’s effect, especially if you’ve left your flag out in the weather. Our Magnetic Diplomatic Car Pole is a great new item. Lots of people have regular car flags, but our diplomatic car pole is unique. It looks much nicer than most car flag poles.

The flag pole is made or stainless steel. It can be removed quickly and the rubber coated magnet won’t scratch your car.

I was looking around on the What on Earth is That Flag blog and I saw an entry about the September 11 memorial that the Russian president , Vladimir Putan, had commissioned and sent to us. It was unveiled in New Jersey on September 11, 2006. It is visible from the statue of liberty and across the Hudson river from where the World trade center towers used to be.
